Growing up in the heart of Philadelphia, Shizz Lo’s musical journey was nurtured by the city’s eclectic blend of hip-hop and dance genres. His passion for the art form ignited at a young age when he first picked up the drums. As he entered his teenage years, he fully embraced the bustling city life, immersing himself in the ever-changing music scene that surrounded him.

What sets Shizz Lo apart is his versatility. From shredding with post-hardcore bands to crafting beats with emcees and producers, his early years were all about breaking molds and testing limits. Determined to level up, he took his hustle to New York City and sharpened his skills at The Institute of Audio Research, rubbing shoulders with producers like Benny Blanco. As electronic music evolved, so did his sound, raw, gritty, and straight from the nightclubs that shaped him. His breakout record “HOOD ANTHEM,” released on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, has earned over 4 million Spotify streams and continues to move dance floors worldwide. Since then, he’s released on labels including Subsidia, SubCarbon Records, and Drama Club Recordings, carving out his lane among the heavy hitters of modern dubstep.

On stage, Shizz Lo brings the same intensity as his records: loud, sweaty, explosive, and impossible to ignore. His music has brought him to festivals such as Lost Lands, Forbidden Kingdom, Project Glow, Amsterdam Dance Event, and on tour alongside artists like Steve Aoki and Boogie T.
